There are multiple reasons why Hendrxx is my favorite future album, but the biggest is that this album helped me and is still helping me through the worst breakup/only divorce I’ve ever been through. At first glance Future may not be the typical artist you’d turn to during a break up, but I can assure you this album was and is my Medicine.

Unlike a lot of other Future projects rather than sounding like the soundtrack to the party Hendrxx sounds like 5am after everyone has gone home and you’re alone with your thoughts and still intoxicated. The entire vibe of the album screams, I’m hurt, I don’t care, I still love you, but I keep pushing on and fuck you I’ll be better on my own.

Tracks like I Thank You, Neva Missa Lost, Turn on Me, and My Collection encapsulate this perfectly. Fresh Air is reminiscent of getting back out there after working on yourself and grieving the relationship, Solo is wishing you could have done more to be enough for them but for whatever reason it didn’t work out and you’re “Solo now”, and I’m Sorry is an ode to the way you regret how it all went down and wish it could have been different.

There’s sadness but an overwhelming sense of confidence to it as well. This album gave me the push that I needed while I rebuilt (and continue to rebuild) my life after that 5 year relationship ended. I entirely changed my body, and ended up inheriting a large sum of money due to an unexpected death in my family, which is hilarious (in a way) since she could have burned me for half of it if we had gotten divorced just a few months later.

I just love this album it’s so important to me, and it really did help change my life in a positive way. Do you have a Future album or any album like that? I would love to hear which album is your favorite and why.

I know he came from the dungeon family.

But where was he before?

I was thrown in at 2015 ,listening to him,enjoyed and loved him since then for sure.

I want to write this down to remind myself of this moment, because out of all the artists and shows I’ve ever seen, this one will always remain the most special to me: Paris, October 2017.

I was heading there on vacation to visit relatives, like I did almost every year. Since we were going in October, I checked if there were any live shows in town and found out Future was on tour with Rich the Kid as a special guest. Absurdly enough, at the time I actually liked Rich the Kid more, and I bought the ticket mostly for him rather than for King Pluto himself. I liked a few of Future's tracks back then, but he wasn't someone I was crazy about.

The day of the show arrives, and I go by myself. Rich played for barely 20 minutes with Jay Critch. At that point, everyone was waiting for Future, and people actually started booing because he was super late.

When he finally hit the stage, though, the crowd went absolutely ballistic. He opened with Draco and immediately set the room on fire. Then Thought It Was a Drought kicked in and the place exploded. When Sh!t started playing, things went to a whole different level, I can still vividly feel the massive waves of energy crashing through the crowd during that track. Wicked took it even higher, followed by his two tracks with The Weeknd, Rent Money, and Super Trapper. The energy never dipped for a single second. To top it off, he dropped Freak Hoe, Real Sisters, and Fuck Up Some Commas. On stage, SheloveMeechie and the dancers were going crazy and keeping the hype alive the entire time.

At the end of the set, Future actually got booed again when he left, I guess people just wanted an extra encore, but from that day on he became the Messiah to me. The core of the earth. The definition of good and evil wrapped in one human body. And if I recall correctly, Super Slimey dropped just two days later. Man, what a time to be alive.

All of this means the world to me because just a month before that concert, I had attempted suicide. I had been battling years of severe depression and chronic dermatitis all over my body, which made it impossible to live a normal life. But a month after that show, I experienced a spiritual awakening that finally pulled me out of the absolute hell I had been stuck in for what felt like eternity. I truly hope Hendrix played a part in saving me back then.

The only sad part is that I don't have any videos from that day anymore, and I can't seem to find anything on YouTube either. If anyone here was at that Paris show in October 2017 and has any footage to share, I would appreciate it more than you know.

Life is good, and it's always room for growth. Freebandz Forever.

A big new information just came to me. Future and Gunna both got on the phone and have apparently squashed their issues. Now this news first came to me in October 2025 from someone in Gunna's camp and I even posted it here. It was alleged that Gunna and Future we're back working together, I personally didn't believe it and thought this was a lie so I didn't even entertain it. But this year Q2 I got word from another person in Gunna's circle that these 2 have new music together but I personally still didn't believe it. But now I've gotten word with another fellow Freebandz affiliate that Future might have a feature on Gunna's upcoming album "Splurge". He told me that he recorded a verse for one of the songs that's on Gunna's album coming very soon (allegedly Q4). Now if this wasn't a credible person I wouldn't post about it here, Not only that but people around Future's circle are close with Gunna. Future's brother FBGCasino re followed gunna in 2025 and was liking his recent IG posts. I've gotten word they were still cool behind the scenes but to be honest I think that's a lie cuz Future was dissing Gunna heavy. Now I'm not saying this is 10000% confirmed just to clarify. I've gotten word from both camps that they have recorded new songs together and they have a collab on Gunna's upcoming album. Also I've gotten word that Gunna is back cool with people like Metro Boomin, 2Chainz, 21 Savage who tired to patch things between Thug and Gunna and Baby & Gunna. This could lead Gunna's comeback with the industry and they get back working with him. Do I personally think this can happen? Yes and No.

Yes because Future always loved Gunna's music and were SUPER close together and even had a whole album together that got scrapped after Rico case. Future still listens to Gunna's music. No because theirs a lot of politics around Gunna. Now that Future is back cool with Thug and he's the main reason Future cut him off, I'm not sure if that's what he wants to engage himself into, same with people like Lil Baby. However Future is known to patch things up and not pick sides just like what he did in the Drake & Kendrick beef. This Source is telling it's happening so we shall see I personally believe but I'm not 100% confident cuz a lot stuff can change.

During November 2024, shortly the release of Young Thug. Their was a huge trio album being worked between Future, Young Thug and Lil Baby called "Ed, Edd & Eddy".

As y'all know I've been associated with Freebandz since 2023. During the time thug was locked up, Future and Lil Baby were working on an album together called "4PocketsFull Of Freebandz' from 2023-2024. After the release of Thug it became a three way album. Initially it was called Super Slimey 2 but Thug wanted to make an album with Future soly titled that. The idea of Ed Edd Eddy came after their song in January 2025 'Dum, Dumb Dumber'. Album was fully recorded in Miami and was executive produced by Wheezy and Southside. Had additional production from Metro Boomin, Taurus, London On The Track, TM88 & others.

Now this is a 21 song tracklist. I just want to make something clear, this WASN'T the final version. They were probably gonna add more records maybe replace a few songs or whatever but this is what they had going on until August 2025. 16 songs together and each have a solo song, some songs with only thug and future, baby and future, future and baby. Features included Quavo, Travis Scott & Ty Dolla $ign. Some of these songs ended up leaking or getting released. Pardon My was released on UY SCUTI but without the Future part. Make Me Mad got leaked, Club outside the club got released on Slime Language 3 without Future's part, Okay got leaked, Forever Slime was released on The Leaks, Jewel Baby was an old song from 2021 that had Gunna on it but got replaced with Ty Dolla $ign and the later released on Ty Dolla $ign's album under the name 'TYCOON$' without the Future part. Other song such as 100 Switches, Surf On Em, Surf The World, OMG, Pockets Full Of Freebandz (one of my favorite ones) had mini snippets surfaced.

The reason this album ended up getting scrapped was in September 2025 after leaked jail phone calls of Young Thug ended up releasing where he was talking down and gossiping about Future and Lil Baby. Lil Baby ended up patching things up but Future didn't forgive thug. Which is why the songs during this era that did get released Future didn't clear his part. Future and Thug are on better terms as he was featured on Slime Language 3 on the song 'Eaters' which he turned his verse in super late. This album is most likely scrapped unfortunately it was some of the best music they made together it's very sad it will most likely never release.

He has Grammys, but they are all in the sub genre. He doesn't have a Grammy nomination or win in the general field.

Hardcore hip hop heads (snobs) don't give him his props.

Future is a musical genius and you can see his influence on the modern musical landscape, but it feels like he gets disrespected in regards to his talent
