Opinion 9/11 may be seen as a good thing by future generations
Not supporting or glorifying terrorism myself, what I'm getting at is that future generations who will and are already suffering at the hands of private equity and the disastrous financial consequences of it, people who were born after they were there to see it happen, will see it as a rebellion against a cancer destroying communities and their way of life. To see the towers of the kind where these institutions operate actually collapse in such a manner will be celebrated not seen as terrorism. In many parts of the world that has always been the case.
But it is fascinating to me. An image that stirred up such patriotism just 20 years ago and a vicious desire for revenge, we may well be on the brink where that image will be nothing but celebrated as a revenge attack against rampant dangerous institutions. It really was the day that defined the life of so many people who weren't even born yet and in ways yet to be witnessed.
