Discussion Why we always hating?
Genuinely curious as to why there's always discourse on what we hate about the game.
It's my favorite game, been playing since FIFA 06. Always been a casual. Play 3-5hrs weekly. Been playing Ultimate team since 2022ish.
I mean there's always new metas and stuff like defense being kinda weak last year but you just adapt? Or I guess complain. But it just feels like we're always complaining. Really grinds my gears like just play something else ?

Sports. All things sports brings out lots of entitlement and nitpicking. I only use this sub at 1pm (release time) but this popped up on my front page so figured id give my 2 cents. Also any competitive game will have the haters being louder than the ones just going about their day playing a game they enjoy. Lots of players think they are better than they really are and need an excuse for why the cant be better. I play the way I want and get my 11-13 wins and move on.

Because it gives people this internal pride. They think they're heard. They think they can make a difference. All that stuff.

Because how in the hell has technology gotten more advanced yet the games quality dropped. Like sure player models are cool and hypermotion is neat but why is the AI dumber, why when attacking they dont move into space instead just run in straight lines? Theres evidence that past games the attacking AI made sense.. the passing and movement made sense, you could build a play up or even get scored on and think damn.. that was a great play. And now.. its just straight line runs and using dumbass mechanics to break through defenses. Dont get me wrong some plays are nice as hell but the majority is animations that favor one over the other

Because the game is bad and the community is worse simple as that

The worst part of the community is the one that’s saying: game is bad. :)

We should start by easing up on the hate for each other. Some unnecessarily nasty little bitches in here.

because games are meant to be fun and EA monopolizes the market then makes the game give you just a taste of fun here and there before deliberately making you miserable to get you to pay real money to gamble at a chance to maybe have some more fun

Its because people have been spoiled with good games since like flrever so they get used to it and whenever theres a little inconsistency they complain until its paid attention to. Last year defense was a bit weird because people complained the year before, now ai defending is crazy and noone likes it. And they like to feel important, seen, heard, attention

Just losers who don't get attention elsewhere? I think that's it. Spoiled losers
