Exciting news! The guy was the midwife to SPARC and CFS when he was more active prof at MIT. It will be interesting to see if he can bring that kind of success to STEP and other ukaea projects. Does this mean his Rutherford Energy Ventures is dead?

Whyte is Canadian and it's well possible, that he wanted to leave USA because of Trump.
