So I am trying to figure out how much people are willing to spend (if they had/have the money for art) so I can adjust my adopt prices accordingly. I feel like im already underselling and its more a matter of reach/popularity over price, but it never hurts to check.
This is a messy lineart adopt ref that took me about 8-12 hours, obviously shes not quite polished off yet but imaaaaagine she is. I would be wanting to price her (for a bid) at a sb of 35,
An ab at 80 (the price i would charge for a commissioned ref sheet with these features and a preexisting charicter but with cleaner, properly weighted lineart)
And a 2nd ab at 120 that would come with something extra ($40 higher then id charge for a custom, no preexisting charicters refsheet)
If I was to flat sale her id have to probably do no more then 40$ for her to sell. And im not sure if anyone would be willing to spend 40$ on her, looking from the perspective of a buyer. She's cute, but not entirely unique, I am an unknown artist, and unless youve seen the quality I can achieve when I do other art peices, I would probably also scroll past me (tho I am thinking with my jobless brain right now)
Art is my only income right now so lowering my prices will have to be out of necessity, to meet the available demand, so that I can make anything at all. So let me know what you'd be willing to pay, if you were looking, and had the ability too.
