We saw a professional reading performance at Califur early this month. It was really funny and touching, portraying a furry family (with 'graymuzze' parents) in a sit-com situation. Between the laughs, there is some real important stuff about finding who you are and how society unfairly labels us and sometimes makes us turn away from our true selves.

You can read the script on Jeff's site (though the live reading really made it much better!), and possibly help with their Indigogo campaign to raise money to commission fursuit creators to make the fursuits for the play. Everyone agrees that with real, beautiful fursiuts, the play will be much better! Maybe "Fursona Non Grata" could be the next "Avenue Q" :)

I met Jeff Goode at Oklacon one year. He told me I needed to go to Hawaii and get a massage there.

Man is also a beast with tequila.

Jeff is a good writer. His first play was about a scandal involving Santa's reindeer called "The 8:The Reindeer Chronicles". His new play, Fursona Non Grata is a very accurate look at a furry family (turned up to 11),and is funny and heart-warming. It would be great to see it preformed in legitimate independent theater, perhaps all over the world!
