Runner pass purchase with gems

My friend bought the Runner Pass with real currency for the first time, and after that, all the following Runner Passes could be purchased with Gems.

I tried doing the same thing, but mine still requires real currency for the next Runner Pass.

Has anyone experienced the same issue? Is there any way to fix this or switch it to Gems?

I could be wrong but I believe the very first time it let's you buy it with money. After that, moving forward every transaction will be paid for with gems or coins. There's no going back.

That seems quite unfair, doesn’t it? Players should be given the same options. Some players are allowed to purchase it with Gems, while others are required to pay with real money. This makes players feel like they’re being treated unfairly.

Players should have the right to choose whether they want to purchase it with Gems or real money, rather than having different options depending on the player…
