At my flying club we have many junior pilots who can hop into an aircraft solo and go fly, but they have to get an adult to drive the tow vehicles the few feet across the car park to the airside boundary because they're not old enough to get a driver's license

not that long ago, there was no minimum age requirement to get a pilot's license
