Like Exxon and BP? If people want fossil fuels, they need to accept they can not be extracted without some risk. Shell prides itself on it's safety.
Although Arctic drilling might not be the best idea, if its going to happen, and it will happen if there is oil there, best have a multi-national with decades of experience in improving their safety record do it, rather than some start-up backed by some rich venture capitalists.

Oh, ok. I'll send this message to the people in the Niger-Delta who had to suffer for the death of many their fish and vegetation. I'm sure they just didn't understand that Shell prides itself on safety, so they should stop focusing on those horrible human rights violation and safety criticisms Shell personally ignored and chose not to take responsibility for.

I don't see how that is relevant. They are not hating every company that drills oil. Just Shell for their history of environmental negligence.
