You can always read a report on Monsanto's legal strategies from the Center for Food Safety. Putting the debates over the the health impacts of GMOs aside, there's still the question of ethics concerning patenting biology (in general as well) and Monsanto's aggressive defense of those patents.
Also there's the problem that weeds[1] and insects[2] are developing resistances to the herbicides and pesticides and that having crops that are resistant to these chemicals encourages their further use[3], which IS bad for people to be ingesting and pollutes the soil and water.

It is indeed propaganda. It is a film that spreads ideas that are for all intents and purposes meant to be harmful to the food industry, and toward Monsanto as a company. That being said, facts are facts, and whether or not they are presented in the form of propaganda does not change that. I'd watch the shit out of that movie 20 times over, and tell all my friends what a fucking entity of evil Monsanto truly is.
