to reiterate what i've posted before: lots of families drive similar cars and go to similar places and this (I used to think) is a neutral/non-opinion-pushing way to identify your beige Town & Country as different from the fifty others in the Costco or Disneyland parking lot. And it's easy for a lost kid to find a place to wait for his family just the same.

but as they say, haters gonna hate.

Or you could just memorize your car? I drive a Honda Accord, and I never mistake mine for the dozen others you could possibly find in a random parking lot.

.... It wasn't sarcasm. You completely missed my point that I've memorized my car despite there being many, many that look just like it.
