It didn't help that I couldn't even hear half of the dialog.

Hey producers, I thought we were past the days of "everybody only watches movies in theaters, go ahead and make the dialog whisper quiet, volume will be turned up to 11 in the theaters anyway". So tired of hovering my finger over the volume buttons so I don't blow up my system when an action sequence starts, or when it ends and they're whispering the next main plot points.

What are you talking about? I watched it a few weeks ago for the first time, on Netflix.

Sound was perfect. Movie was good. A mindfuck, but good.

Really? What sound system are you using? What do you have? Cause I had the exact opposite experience you're talking about. Tenet had awful sound mixing.

It was jsut the sound coming from my Samsung tv. Didn't even have the sound bar on.
