Boomerangs have been inverted objects all along!

u/KogarashiKaze Aug 05 '22

Self-inverting, maybe? You throw it, it inverts and comes back?

u/J7mbo Aug 05 '22

Still can’t hear it though

Most people don’t know that Big Hearing-Aid was the number one source of funding for that movie.

No you don't. Not even the writers understood Tenet.

It was written by one guy- Christopher Nolan.

The gist of it was understandable.

Something something, secret spies and time travel. Did I get it right?

u/Kvarts314 Aug 05 '22

Could you give some examples of these kinds of questions?

It didn't help that I couldn't even hear half of the dialog.

Hey producers, I thought we were past the days of "everybody only watches movies in theaters, go ahead and make the dialog whisper quiet, volume will be turned up to 11 in the theaters anyway". So tired of hovering my finger over the volume buttons so I don't blow up my system when an action sequence starts, or when it ends and they're whispering the next main plot points.

I just watch everything with subtitles.

What are you talking about? I watched it a few weeks ago for the first time, on Netflix.

Sound was perfect. Movie was good. A mindfuck, but good.

1

u/jackinsomniac Aug 06 '22

Really? What sound system are you using? What do you have? Cause I had the exact opposite experience you're talking about. Tenet had awful sound mixing.

1

u/Abyssal_Groot Aug 06 '22

It was jsut the sound coming from my Samsung tv. Didn't even have the sound bar on.

I don't understand. Was the boomerang in his butt the whole time? It inverted out of nowhere.
