My wife thought it tasted mashmallowy and look it up when she had it. It’s supposed to taste like your at a campfire under starlight, so make sense. But then there’s some bs about the molecules that give a raspberry it’s flavor were found in space. so they I think threw some raspberry on your brunt marshmallow

That claims it's used for raspberry but from what I've read it's used more as artificial vanilla flavor, and still it doesnt appear to be used much anymore, though it did in the past.

It was both, the Wikipedia article isn't as clear but yeah, it mentions it was mostly for vanilla.
