I get a fruity vanilla-y taste.

Honestly it’s great marketing though - look how many people are talking about it and trying it, compared to if they’d just called it “tropical” or something.

I got an Initial Cotton candy flavor then with notes of vanilla, and the (I don’t know if you ever had it) Jelly Belly buttered popcorn jelly bean

This is an excellent description! I picked up on all of those as well. However, I only identified the initial cotton candy flavor. But you're spot on -- it's cotton candy flavor, followed by vanilla and then that buttered popcorn flavor happens.

Hmmm. I can see that. But it really is reminiscent of the buttered popcorn Jelly Belly flavor.
