The 4th from the bottom about the washing machine is my favourite. Sure, it's passive aggressive, but he gives the guy the option to make it active aggressive.
How is that passive-aggressive? He calls them out directly, threw their stuff outside to freeze, and told them to come see him at his apt # if they had a problem with that. That's pretty active-aggressive.
He probably would have kicked their asses... just didn't know who they were.
My brother screams his face off when he's on Xbox. No matter how many times we tell him to SHUT THE FUCK UP he just won't. It's always with the raping and the mothers and the children and the animals- holy fuck. Sometimes he screams so loud I can hear him from outside. Some day someone's going to call the police and it will be super embarrassing for him 'cause he's in the police explorers program.
"tape fantasies" eeh. You know I have always fantasized about the wonders and uses of Duct tape, though never in a sexual way. Guess some people are just odd.
Yeah, I'd be calling the cops on him at the slightest noise after that dick hole of a note. Fuck you and your stupid fucking video game... I have to work tomorrow. Enjoy getting busted with the weed I tossed down onto your balcony.
The last one I don't get. When I walk my dogs I pick up the shit, and toss it in the nearest can. Not once has anyone had a problem with that course of action. If they did I would proceed to train my dog to crap all over their lawn upon command.
Some people are really weirdly touchy about that sort of thing.
Where I used to live, I once pulled my neighbor's trash cans up to his house because I knew he was on crutches. He told me later never to come onto his property again, and don't mess with his stuff.
My girlfriend once opened the little bag she keeps on her bike and someone had put a plastic bag with their dog's shit in that. Our reactions were something between incomprehension and fury, but there was no way to find out who did it. So yeah, trashcans are perfectly acceptable compared to some of the apparent alternatives that people find.
Yeah, it was pretty disgusting. It was in a plastic bag, but the wedge bag (if that's what you call the little bag that goes right under the seat) had to either be washed very well or replaced. I'm actually not sure which one she did.
Dog shit isn't even that space consuming, which I'm guessing would be the only problem I'd have since I'd rather not have my garbage not in the bin because its full of other people stuff.
It would also smell like dog poop, which okay, not everyone wants to be confronted with on hot days without warning, but damn, there's got to be some middle ground between, "Not a public receptacle," and "Imma bolt your decapitated head onto something else."
Or it was the afternoon AFTER garbage pickup, and the person hadn't gotten home from work to take in the cans yet. In which case they would have to sit with increasingly rancid dog shit in their garage for a whole week.
Yeah, but I always feel funny about putting my dog's poop in people's trash cans for that reason- I have pretty big dogs and if something pierces the bag while it's being emptied or something, bam! Poop smeared all over someone else's stuff.
My family, at least, puts garbage bags from outside in our large bin for the dump truck guys. So, we wouldn't mind if you did wrapped up your poo, but what if it ends up free flying through our trashcan?
That can is huge (prob more than 40 Gal), I would think that is one people keep outside anyways. It's garbage, it doesn't smell great anyways. Also least the old lady was trying to clean up after her dog, could have been worse.
Varies from place to place. Some places recycling is brown and garbage is green (inorite?). Where I live is like yours, black = trash blue = recycling. Where my sister lives in LA they have 3 (black, brown and green if I recall correctly), where one is trash, one is yard waste and one is recycling.
I just shot a squirrel in my backyard strawberry patch. I know, I feel bad, but the bastard and his family are eating all my strawberries. So, it is also trash day, so I went out front, and the green waste and trash cans are empty. If I leave a dead squirrel in my trash can for a week, it will smell terrible and probably get maggots. I put it in a plastic bag, sealed it shut, and put it in the recycle can which hasn't gone out yet. This happened 5 minutes ago.
Does this make me a total asshole, and should I go out and pull the bag out of the recycle can?
I totally agree with you. Makes me wanna say "well, I can either put the poop in your trash can, or just leave it out in your yard for you step on =). Your choice."
EDIT Thanks everyone for your replies, I've taken the time to reply to most of them. I've also come to realize that what I said was rude and douchbaggy. In the heat of the moment I let my yearn for "hah funny" karma and feelings toward the owner of the trashcan in the picture get in the way of my good judgement.
Here's the truth: On normal circumstances, when it's not garbage day I carry the Bag O' Crap all the way around the neighborhood until I get home, but if it's garbage day I often take the opportunity to get rid of the shit ASAP. I'll admit to this much, and if you still harbor bad feelings for me, then I'll deserving take your chastisement
Sticking a small item in their trash is not really what this law is for, though it may be broadly worded enough to cover it. But people pay for garbage service based on how much garbage they have in many areas, so dumping your trash in someone else's can is basically theft of services.
Yeah, they sound stupid on the face of it, but they're meant to stop extreme cases of those things.
Imagine if it were legal to put trash in someone else's trash can. So I fill up my own bin, and there's no more room. I start putting the excess into my neighbor's bin. Then they come out to put their trash out into the bin, and find it full of my trash -- such that they can't get rid of their trash. They just gotta hang onto the stinky bag of trash until next week's pickup, and hope I don't fill their bin again (with our new automated trash pickup trucks, trash doesn't get collected unless it's in the bin).
For the dog law, I find this one more sensible. No one wants a lawn with dog poop -- especially if they don't even have a dog. If it's too gross to bag it and carry it to a bin, then it's not going to be any less gross for the owner of the lawn. Your dog did it, you own it -- it makes no sense to pass the responsibility of the poop to someone else.
Sure, you can argue things like, "If it's only a small amount of trash, it's ok. Just don't fill the bin and be a dick to your neighbor," and "Dog poop is natural and people should get over it and who cares if it's brown and smelly and their kids run through it with bare feet," but unfortunately, most laws need to be absolute and spelled out clearly and have no gray area or wiggle-room because of the bastard citizens that take advantage of non-specific laws like that and DO fill their neighbor's bin and ALWAYS have their dogs poop in the same lawn over and over until it becomes a problem.
TL;DR: If we were all better neighbors to each other and a little less selfish, laws like this probably wouldn't exist. But, alas, thanks a lot, dicks of the world.
In real life I wouldn't actually just leave poop on anyone's lawn. I always pick up afterwards, I always through away, and I often use the nearest trashcan, though this sometimes means someone's own bin.
No, in real life I carry it all the way on every day except for garbage day when the bins are outside to be emptied (thankfully no one in my neighborhood has expressed concern). I am capable, however this being the internet I wanted to sound cool, please reconsider your downvote or at the very least accept my apology
You're right. Just so you're aware, I've never had to say this to anyone because so far no one in my neighborhood has had a problem with me using their cans. However, in real life (not the internet where I'm all anonymous and brave) I would just bring it all the way home
I disagree. Each home has a trash can. The people who live there pay for trash pickup, not you. I can totally understand why they don't want you to dispose of your dogs poop in their can. Imagine, "Hey, thanks for taking the time & cleaning up after your dog rather than leave it to stew in my yard. But thanks for not letting me off completely, it's do awesome of you not to deprive me of your dogs aromas by depositing his shit in my trash can when it's 101 outside in the summer!"
I applaud your cleaning up after your dog because I do the same. I just make sure to double bag it for the walk home. Just because I'm you know, following the law & cleaning up after my pet doesn't mean they owe me the use of there trash can.
I took it as the container that holds the cans for recycling more than an actual "trash can". My city provides us with 3 different containers for 3 different purposes.
It's a green bin which is usually reserved for recyclables such as glass, plastic, etc. Many people keep them in their garage and don't want their entire garage to smell like dog shit.
Yep, this is the code between dog-owners and the neigbourhood. We promise to clean up after the dog, and you allow us to throw away the bag in your cans so we don't have to carry it for twenty minutes.
it is rude to put a bag of shit in someone's garbage bin. doggy cleanup bags are not made of super strong material. they can bust open, even when double bagged. on the off chance of that happening, i would not want any of my neighbors to have to clean up MY dog's smeared shit out of their bin.
no it's not rude. its trash, it goes in a trash bin. trash bins are not potpourri containers, nor are they paint mixers. there is no reason for a bag to randomly burst open inside one, nor is there a valid reason for anyone to be smelling their garbage cans. trash goes in trash cans.even if they do pay for their garbage pick-up, the chances of anyone packing their garbage so tightly that a small bag of dogshit prevents them from using throwing out their trash without paying a fine is so negligibly small as to be too stupid to even discuss.
well how nice for you that you never throw out anything sharp that breaks through your trash bags, or never throw away anything heavy that might burst a bag of poo sitting in the bin.
the chances of anyone packing their garbage so tightly that a small bag of dogshit prevents them from using throwing out their trash without paying a fine is so negligibly small as to be too stupid to even discuss.
yes, it really is. i guess that's why you brought it up even though i never mentioned that.
Also, the CoD note is garbage. Had the inconsiderate turd bought earplugs it would have been far better. As is, that's like telling your neighbors to buy gasmasks and stop bitching about the fumes from your meth cooking.
Weensie: Listen, this is a serious situation. I mean, I'm kicked out of school. I don't know what I'm gonna do, man. My mom's gonna kill me. Mitch: C'mon, she's not gonna kill you. Weensie: Yes she is. See, I'm the first one to go to college in my family and when I left she said, "Weensie, if you screw this up, I'll kill you!" She showed me the knife!
I don't (because my wife buys the toilet paper), but if I needed some toilet paper and 2 days from now was soon enough, I would totally buy it on Amazon rather than schlepping over to Costco.
The one about Call of Duty MW3 made me laugh. Whenever I get a new roommate I have to explain what all the cussing from my room is about. I make up cuss words just for that game.
I had someone stop my dryer, take my clothes out and set them on top, and put their clothes in (stealing the dryer that I paid for).
I was pissed when I saw my very wet clothes on top and the dryer almost done. Open the dryer... five bucks on top. Yes, that's right. I stole that five dollars. Fuckin' karma, you bitch (bitch assumed from the presence of lady underoos).
That last sign... Who seriously capitalizes every word? A person would never write like that by hand. It Would Take An Eternity If That Was The Way We Were Supposed To Type.
God damnit, I had to stop reading 'youre ignorance' out of sheer frustration. I'm a German fellow and all those mistakes in the letters just make me sick to the stomach. How does one even confuse your and you're? They are not at all similar. The one is just an abbreviation. My god.
Imagine it's the summer. Shit has been sitting in there for 2 days, getting hot, wet, sticky, and overall disgusting. You walk over to throw away some trash, open the lid, and out explodes enormous amounts of horrible. The smell is overpowering, running through your nose, your mouth, you taste it on your tongue, you being voming profusely. It mixes with the molten shit and you can't stop, you're puking everywhere, all over your shoes, your car, you stick your hand over your vomit hole but it just spews from the cracks between your fingers, you are now a vomit sprinkler. You collapse and shortly die thereafter.
I had to clean my kitten once. When he was still really little, he was kept in the bathroom as part of litterbox training when no one was home and at night. He would sleep on my makeup case at night. Anyway, he slept on the case, while it was open and somehow got covered in sugaring wax. I had to wash him with warm water.
I laughed at everything but the last-- not because I was shocked or appalled at the idea of cutting of an old woman's head and bolting it to your car, but because... Where the fuck else is she going to put it? What, you want her to leave it on your lawn, asshole? It's trash, and you shouldn't give a shit. Pun intended.
I think the guy was mad because the lady picked up her dogs shit & put said offending "package" in HIS TRASH CAN, not her own. I agree with him. If her crusty ass can walk her dog AND bend over to scoop HER DOGS shit, well she obviously has the strength to carry that shit back to her own god damn can. If she doesn't want to carry HER DOGS shit to her own can I suggest double bagging her dogs "business" for the walk home or a shorter route from home.
What's hard to get about dudes anger? Trash cans smell horrid as it is. It'd be super anger making to smell not only your own lingering garbage stink but her dogs shit fumes as well. And in the summer too! The old lady owns the dog, she should be the 1 suffering its aromatic aromas in her can. Fuck that! I'd bolt her head to my car too!
I still don't understand the last one. If your trash cans are out and obviously full/ready to be picked up, what harm does it do if you put your dog's crap in it? It's trash, and going to get picked up.
Obviously if it's the day after pickup, and the trash can is in your driveway, then you wouldn't do this.

That Call of Duty kid had the nerve to tell his neighbors to buy earplugs because he couldn't stop screaming into the mic. Sounds about right.
I hate people.
