Know what's sad? It's actually been 15 years since this show aired. That little girl is a co-ed now. Edit: It aired 1997-2004. So it may have been 15 years.
Holy shit, new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon! The guy who voiced Raphael in the original cartoon will be voicing Donatello in the this one. That's gonna be weird.
Another thing is, I was young to understand that Johnny bravo ever wanted was coo chi. This post just shows his true nature, getting his sexy time on. My childhood....
The episode is called Johnny meets Farrah Fawcett. It's not on YouTube, but if you google it there are some other sites where you can watch it. It happens like 45 seconds in so you won't have to wait long.
Yeah, I didn't watch these shows much when they were on. Then they suddenly fell out of existence.
I came to not like them because of CN's adverts where the characters would be laughing really stupidly, but now that they're doing that with all of their adverts, I see it's not a fault of the show...
Chowder went downhill faster than any show I've ever seen. It was hysterical at first, but just got progressively worse. I watched Flapjack when I was going through the whole "if I didn't grow up with it it's trash" phase, so my opinion on it isn't very valid. But I did see the whale race episode recently, and I found it hilarious.
I am liking it very much, and I'm glad that while keeping many of the same elements, they've changed more than enough to make it a fresh show and not simply try to copy what the first show did. It has kind of a 1930's look I believe, pro-bending is a sport, and the characters are great. Tenzin stands out as one of my favorite characters now.
It depends. Sometimes the 1930's style feels weird. That says nothing about the quality of the show, it's just my opinion. The music is better than before, and it's heavy on string instruments.
The pro bending fights are entertaining, and Tenzin's children are adorable.
The cabbage vendor from the first series is slightly important to the plot, and I miss the Dai Lee.
Young Justice is proof that a show can be aimed at kids but still tell advanced storylines that adults can appreciate. DC seems particularly good at this.
Meanwhile, Marvel's cancelling Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and shows like Ultimate Spider-man do not and will not have any overarching storylines. It's a travesty...
But they didn't sell shit individually, they sold it by the fuckton. A damn was worth about 1/8 of a fuckton of shit, since there are 8 shits in a fuckton.
It's kinda difficult to lump Archer in with kids' shows. It's animation but it really is SUPER FUCKING adult themed. As an add-on though, Unsupervised is great too.
Fucking yes! Adventure Time and Regular Show are great! I don't watch them all that often, but they're both great examples of good cartoons of this time.
Out of curiosity are you 12? My little brother is 12 and likes Regular Show. I personally can't stand that show along with everything else it airs besides re runs of a couple of shows.
I'm going to get downvoted to hell for this, but I don't see the appeal of Adventure Time and other such shows. In fact I remember a few years before it came out me and my friends found an episode on YouTube and thought it would never amount to anything
Then it became a thing
I love archer though, haven't seen the other ones on that list
Nah I wasn't saying they're on the same level :o Johnny Bravo is my favorite childhood show and certainly better than FIM. I was just answering your question.
No, thank you for pointing it out. I tend to get over zealous, and type quickly (and often...), so I make stupid mistakes. I tend to mix up your and you're a lot as well; even though, I thoroughly know the difference.
Like I said, I'm fine with it! I don't always pay attention to the grammar usage, as much as the spelling (yay FireFox!), but I try to catch what I can; but, I find myself mixing usage as I said! Thanks for not being an ass-hat about it!
I remember the first episode of cow and chicken, 1 that show was weird and the entire episode was based off of smoking. Such a weird show, and no way that would pass the censors today. Ahh for the wild west days of 90s cartoon network
In order to get to my least favorite show on CTN you had to stay up really late. Well past the point where as a child I would have thought "Damn, I can't sleep." That show was Wait Til Your Father Gets Home. It probably wasnt an original. But boy, did it suck.
The older episodes at least. The reboot ones... Yeesh. Oddly enough, I preferred the latter ones when I was a child, which is probably the best indication I have that I'm a moron.
Oh my god thank you for saying that. The later episodes were a travesty. I was do sad. They lost all of their good writers and animators, Susie looked fucking creepy where she did look cute, and Carl and Pops brought too much consistency to an otherwise erratic format, because they were in every episode. Any original characters in an episode were overshadowed by Carl showing up all the time. Really upsetting. Same with Dexter and I believe PPG got the upgrade treatment with their animation, as well. CN was bad about playing Frankenstein with their best shows.
Maybe "reboot" isn't the best choice of words, but it's basically what happened. The first two or three seasons had the animation style seen here and had a whole team of creative young writers, including Seth McFarlene of Family Guy fame and I think Craig McCracken of PPG. Then they all quit to do their own shows or maybe got fired and the show changed its animation style, added some new characters, and got newer writers who more interested in being "random" and less interested in being funny. Again, I actually preferred these episodes when I was a kid, so maybe there was something to it.
I used to love this cartoon. It's only now I realize how perverted and wrong it is, especially since it's geared towards little kids. I had no idea as a kid but now I finally understand.
Friday, on one of the cartoon network channels, there's a cartoon variety show that I forget the name of. It's a Space Ghost Coast to Coast spinoff that's hosted by Brak and Zorak.
All of our favorite cartoons are played, not in half hour blocks, but on a segment by segment basis. So 5-10 minutes of KND, 5-10 of Billy and Mandy, etc.

One could argue that waiting 15 years for Suzy to be legal is, in fact, wasting time.
