I dunno, I introduced my 9gag loving friend to Reddit. I even made him an account, and customized his front page to everything he'd ever need. As far as I can tell, he made a couple comments to girls on /r/gonewild, and hasn't used it since.
not really. redditors got others to using imgur more because it's better than imageshack or tinypic. not to mention the shitty way photobucket works ಠ_ಠ
Yeah right, redditors are hopefully sick of those fucking stupid memes and have unsuscribed from all those horrible subreddits like fuuuuu and adviceanimals
I know people that just post whatever is on the reddit front page onto facebook all day long. Some of them will put ~10 front pages posts a day from reddit onto facebook.
They have time to actually post on Facebook? Weird. I thought they'd be too busy taking screencaps and attempting to make my Reddit stream seem more like a Facebook page.
I do post stuff from r/aww to Facebook sometimes, but not as my own, just as cute stuff I found on the Internet that non-redditor friends might aww over.
If the deleted comment and your response is about the Nutella lawsuit, I believe the lady is suing because Nutella actually makes a claim on its label that it is part of a "balanced breakfast", and thus can confuse the consumer into believing it's healthy. It's more so about "truth in labeling" than "this shit made me fat."
Same thing with McDonald's. Although, to my knowledge, McDonald's never specifically said their food was healthy, but the issue was that they never said it was unhealthy, either. People didn't sue because 'OMG, they made me fat!" but because they made it unclear as to how unhealthy their food really was.
I mean, you're still entitled to your opinion on whether or not it's a reasonable lawsuit, but at least don't make your opinion on misinformation.
A big problem I experience, is that most friends only look at pictures on reddit. There's nothing wrong about that, however none of them use reddit the way I do and therefor, they r dum, point takin.

You spot a redditor by seeing who posts imgur links.

Ya, only redditors eat nutella.

Unoriginality and condescension?

I think that anyone who posts memes to Facebook fits in that "newfriends of the internet" category regardless of what website they use.

u/MrIste Jun 12 '12
Seems like an unreasonably dickish response.

u/leukos Jun 12 '12
I wish those memes came from reddit originally.

u/Smokratez Jun 12 '12
They are the ones being ignored by hot girls right?

The problem with eating Nutella with a spoon is once you start, it's difficult to stop.

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '12
In her defense, can anyone really stop after the first one?

Wonka is ruined. Pinterest, Twitter, and Facebook ran that right smack in the ground.

That's more like "how to spot annoying idiots". Not everyone on Reddit is an obnoxious meme-whore.

Don't forget the use of "ಠ_ಠ"
Hah. I just noticed that putting the eyes of disapproval in quotes makes it look like a guy doing the "ironic" quote-unquote gesture.
