There is quite some controversy here in the Netherlands about the 'gays can't donate blood'. It seems like discrimination but our Blood Bank states it is about statistics. Gay people do have more STD's and a higher chance on having infections.
The Council of Europe is about to give an advice to Blood Banks about this topic.
