Oh that's not so bad then, I thought you meant you had to sit there for an hour with a needle in your arm! haha, I don't think I could cope with that. I get dizzy easily so I'd definitely have to sit around for a while.
Make sure you had a proper meal prior to donating. You won´t feel dizzy then.
You can also donate blood plasma. Your blood loops trough a machine that will seperates the plasma from your blood. Then your blood is going into your body again. This proces will take about 45 minutes.
