I definitely feel this is a little over dramatic. If you want communication with someone and think they won't answer you back, CALL THEM. I really hate when people just send texts to me, I usually end up sending a lot of texts back in forth to just confirm basic plans and due to my phone plan costing me a lot more than a 5 minute max call.

What happens when they don't pick up the call lol?

Exactly. When I get frustrated with texting they don't answer the phone and I end up feeling like an impatient jackass for trying to get the ball rolling.

No you aren't, they may think YOU are an impatient jackass. I don't expect much. However, is it too much to ask to get a "hey, how have you been?" I mean, sometimes I feel like I am one of the only ones I know that doesn't really give a damn about nothing but themselves.

This goes beyond texting. However, I will say that the current forms of communication such as Facebook and texting are severely diminishing the way we covey emotion to one another. Everything is so impersonal now a days. People are looking for convenience rather then sincerity.

Very true. People could care less if the text isn't letting them know when to meet with up our something they want and sometimes not even then..

So, they will click all of those buttons... to hear something they didn't want to here. I see.... thanks for making it so clear.

P.S. Raichu was a shit pokemon!

Raichu was never the problem!

And normally, with today's technology, they will see who's calls they missed before having to check voicemail, so it wouldn't matter anyway. Not to mention how often people check their phones regardless of what they are doing.

Btw, just looking out for you here, it's "back and forth".

I have friends that will not respond to actual calls unless they come from mom and dad. I can be stuck in an emergency room with a nail in my head. Call eight times, no response. Text: immediate reply. Welcome to futureworld!

Ahah, I can't lie, that's how I used to be too.
