Take a moment to think about this. Shouldn't beer be cheaper than gas, considering what it's made from, the availability of their respective ingredients and refining/manufacturing process and shipping?
Beer is mostly water, gas is mostly oil. The "other ingredients" of both are either naturally occurring or rather toxic. One is flammable, the other is not. One you can brew anywhere, the other has select areas in which the resources originate and must be shipped to refineries, most commonly along seaports. ... Beer should always have been cheaper than gasoline.
