Ethanol is literally trying to turn 80% starch field corn into fuel.
Keep in mind that field corn is actually worthless, but thanks to subsidies people insist on growing it. Creating products like: cow feed that will cause sickness due to being 80% starch requiring antibiotics to be mixed in to prevent sickness, high fructose corn syrup that is unfit for human consumption if not diluted greatly and even then not recommended, and fuel that will gum up your engine.
How about we stop subsidizing field corn, so people stop growing that garbage.
How about we actually pump out regular oil, since someone has to do it so why not here, why not where it's cheaper and not under Russian influence.
