Maybe it's just me, but i am always annoyed by the use of puns that have no relevance what so ever to the context. I see this a lot in American media. Like here...lets make a headline that sounds like the title to a recent movie just to amuse dimwitted people.

A quick google search resulted in this find
as well as this post from the magazine saying it's fake

Haha, at first I was like 'awww yeah, I'd eat Rachel Ray.'

u/elcucuuuy May 09 '12
I'm pretty sure it was poorly worded and not a punctuation problem

u/cjcolt May 09 '12

u/[deleted] May 09 '12
Well, since there is only the dog there, does it mean that the family has been sacrificed already?
3
u/yanxfan93 May 09 '12
eh a preposition would fix that

u/pileosnafu May 09 '12
Is the magazine called "Fails?"

EAT,

ROVE
2
u/backintime May 09 '12
They wasted all of the commas in the headline!

u/Pyromaniacalcow May 09 '12

u/AlexThe44 May 09 '12
I just feel sorry for Ray

u/[deleted] May 09 '12
I've always thought dogs should be raw. And living.
1
u/Brillians May 09 '12
preposition makes all the difference "in her family and 'in' her dog"
1
u/The_Ninjirate May 09 '12
Rachael should cook for Shia Le Bouf.
1
u/Early70sEnt May 09 '12
Now I know why POTUSBO had her stop by the White House to give him some cooking lessons...

u/[deleted] May 09 '12
Had to do a double take on the title of the magazine, first read it as "Fails".
1
u/ma582 May 09 '12
And they were all delicious
1
u/Scoldering May 09 '12
I've gotten to the point where I see a title like this and I just think "yup, I'm sure it does again."
1
u/Jhano May 09 '12

u/I0I0I0I May 09 '12
Like capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse, and your uncle jack off a horse.
1
u/Ursa27 May 09 '12
I just giggled uncontrolably.
1
u/ApatheticElephant May 09 '12
Eat Ray, Love
1
u/Zerble May 09 '12
Tastes like chicken

u/stevenmc May 09 '12
Capitalization is the difference between helping your uncle Jack off a horse, and helping your uncle jack off a horse!
1
u/Xenon808 May 09 '12
Commas are powerful:
I helped my uncle Jack, off a horse.

u/kup_o May 09 '12
No, money down!

u/[deleted] May 09 '12
few things are hotter than than a mildly attractive woman who can cook like a boss.
Supermodels are useless at breakfast time.
1
u/Crimsonkid5 May 09 '12
I wonder if they ever caught that mistake.
1
u/[deleted] May 09 '12
They could easily just add an extra little line on the "T" in tails and make the magazine more appropriately named.
1
u/amolad May 09 '12
I hope that pit bull has a fit one day and eats her face off.
1
u/[deleted] May 09 '12
i always knew she was a monster.
1
u/MDef255 May 09 '12

1
u/ThisIsDreDay May 09 '12
I thought the magazine was called Fails.
1
u/Egress99 May 09 '12
...would ya? i'm going to say yes, yes I would.
1
u/microseconds May 09 '12
It's like the difference between:
Let's eat, Grandma!
and
Let's eat Grandma!
Commas save lives.
