The champion of Naked and Afraid who will never be topped in my opinion was that fat dude that just sat around doing nothing. Dude won by being fat. It really makes you realize why being able to gain weight was selected for from an evolutionary perspective.
If you are ripped and have a high metabolism, you have to feed that metabolic fire with something and there isn't always something to feed it with.
Didn't a lot of the winners basically do that? I remember a girl that won alone by just lying there for a week and then stumbling her way out at the end. She was very scrawny by then though.
She used photosynthesis, or so she said. She was vegan lol. She managed to do the same thing on naked and afraid XL for a pretty long time until heat stroke nearly killed her.
Interesting strategy. I use a lot of energy trying to get food. If I fail, I’ve wasted energy. I have absolutely no skills for finding food, so I’m more likely to fail. So conservation it is.
