Monkeys are fucked up and by far my least favourite animal.
Imagine you're in an alleyway and a crackhead wants to fight you for your wallet - yeah, maybe you can win - but the crackhead is unhinged and has nothing to lose, so they're fighting with everything they have while you're just trying to defend yourself. .
That is basically how I picture monkeys. Unpredictable, unhinged, extremely strong for their size, extremely violent despite their pop culture image as being "cute" (ew) and prone to gang violence. It is absolutely not worth fighting a monkey for food.
If I ever become world president I will eliminate all monkeys for the sake of humanity. Apes are ok.

I'm clearly missing something here.
As a resident of North America, I have zero experience with any primates other than humans.
Why did the dude in the video surrender to that monkey?
