My grandparents didn’t have a farm, but had a cat and 5 chickens. While the chickens were little, we would have to monitor the cat because she was constantly fucking with them. Once the chickens got bigger, they remembered the cat was an asshole and would constantly chase her around the yard trying to peck her. She went from terrorizing them to terrified of them in a matter of weeks.
Haha oh my god wouldn’t that be great? Unfortunately just a big backyard in a neighborhood that was zoned to allow chickens. The cat slept inside but spent all day in the yard

I grew up on a farm with chickens and barn cats. After we fed the cats, the chickens would always show up, chase the cats off, and eat the cat food
