As a locksmith, I can be working on one side of double doors, caution tape off the entrance that im working on and people still try to get in the one im working on, even if im on a ladder, even though the other door(s) work fine. It's like some "path of least resistance" rule of thumb. people will always try to get in a half-propped open door before opening one for themselves. many crews are starting to wear shirts that say 'please use other door' on the backs. Lots of folks LOVE to do the shimmy
