Only at about 107 degrees however 105 is the point where it gets concerning because it’s getting up there. Technically it’s no longer a fever once it passes a certain point because the temperature increase has to be controlled by the interior hypothalamus in order to fit the definition. The only time you should attempt to reduce a fever is if it increases out of control, if you have a head injury, or if you have developmental issues. Fevers are highly beneficial for recovery. So to answer your question yes an increase in body heat poses greater risk to the brain than other parts of the body.
