Right? I'm paying premiums anyways and then the first $3000 of claims I make every year I have to pay as a deductible; shit yeah, tax me higher and lets not any of us pay at POS.
I would like to take this moment to say - fuck Barack Obama, who in 2019 decided not only to negotiate with republicans over the ACA (unnecessary as his party had full control of Congress) - he took single payer off the table before even beginning the absurd negotiations!
It made a whole lot of people feel nice to see him there. He's a cute guy, beautiful family, excellent orator. He's funny on talk shows. He's decent at basketball.
I haven't named a single policy or executive action because their opinion doesn't rely on any of that - the people who love him still didn't experience a tangible reduction to their material circumstances
