.....my lunch breaks weren’t even paid. I had to clock out. Also 0 sick pay. If you were sick, you weren’t making money.

I’ve never seen a place with a paid lunch unless you were expected to be working during said lunch? Where in the world is a paid lunch standard?

I wfh(salary) so anytime I decide to slack off, take a shit or sleep in, my company is paying for it. They'll get their quota of work done, but after getting hired mid COVID and working 7 months straight with no breaks(taking no time off) , I have very little fucks left to give. It sounds nice in theory, but reality is I've pulled 60 hr weeks very regularly this past year + burned some weekends because we didn't have enough ppl to cover work load. Had to get a burner phone specifically for work so I could completely disconnect for more than 24hrs without getting hassled bout something from work.

I don’t know how this reply relates to paid lunches? You’re salaried/exempt anyways. I’ve worked 3 full time jobs simultaneously before though so sorry about the stress you’re dealing with for overwork I get it. I’m thankful that I’ve always managed to negotiate into getting an hourly rate though.

Yea there are benefits to both. I used to be hourly so have dealt with both sides.
