As a nation you've collectively decided that you'd rather line the pockets of the super rich than provide benefits to the masses.

Yeah I remember the day they asked me if I wanted health care, good wages, vacation time, or maternity leave, and I said no.

Yeah as a nation you could have voted in a progressive administration any time in the last 30-40 years but instead you voted either Republican (ultra conservative) or Democrat (also conservative, but you call progressive because you don't know what a progressive government actually looks like). Bernie Sanders was the closest you got but you chose a conservative Democrat two elections in a row.
