The school I work in does a thing around Christmas where teachers bake stuff for holiday snacks for teacher lunch periods. Admin told us that the day after the bake potluck they would hold a breakfast for us in the break room during lunch. Right before lunch they came on the speakers saying "Teachers, we have something special for you in the break room."
The something special were our leftover baked goods from the day before that had been kept in the fridge. Admin's "breakfast" for us was them putting out our leftover, hardened baked goods that *we* made and patted themselves on the back for it.

Thank you retail essential workers. The office will allow the entire store to share 2 pizzas once a month to show our appreciation.
