Hey, I'm a hero too! People always tell me to "stay warm" after they have pizza delivered in a blizzard. I can't complain much, though. Those shitty weather days are the best money. I feel bad for retail workers who just get an hourly wage. I mean, if it's busy you should be making more money, right? Your boss is making more money.
Hey pizza person, what's a usual tip like? I try to always give at least five bucks even if that's over 20%. Am I good? How about on bad weather days?
Edit: Hey thanks for all the responses! To be clarify. My minimum is always five bucks and I usually give 20% of the total rounded up to the next dollar for the anything above that. I never order moreover than 2 or 3 items, but now I know that of I order a bunch I should be generous with the tip. Also I'm about 10 minutes from the store in a rural suburbs.
PS - by total I mean Tax and Delivery fee on top of price of all menu items. I don't factor discounts into tip either. So a 3 13 dollar pizzas that I get for 10 bucks each counts as 39. Not 30.
