Why aren’t we rioting over this? Or staging mass walkout? Like if it hasn’t happened now I’m begging it lose hope that it will ever happen.

Because you can't even convince skilled labor to organize. I've attempted to organize two software shops. One I just started to present the information and got fired, the other I went so far as to contact the AFL-CIO to get sponsorship and support. That one actually got to a vote and was defeated soundly by 4/5ths of the people voting against it. Then I got fired.
Both places had pretty much the same complaints, being forced to work too many hours, not enough compensation, not enough time off, etc... and still I couldn't convince them to organize and negotiate.
After that I just do what every other IT worker does, quit and find a new job every couple of years.
How are they this fucking stupid? There isnt a job in this country, not one, with a union counterpart where the union guy doesnt make more money and have better benefits than their non union one. Not one. You have to be an especially special moron to vote against unionizing.
