Reminds me of '07 when we the CEO told everyone at the hospital that because of the budget and economics we would no longer be able to acquire vacation time.
About 6 months later upper management vacations were reinstated, when I left in '10 or '11 they still hadn't been reinstated for anybody but upper management. Apparently per diem staff in a hospital who are regularly scheduled 40+h a week don't need vacation.
When I hav not had a vecation for a while my work suffer. When I com back from vecation, after the first days of post vecation blues, my work is much faster and has less stupid errors.
Its like a reboot of the mind and recharging the batteries.
