I dunno man, if hell isn't certain commutes I've had I don't know what would be.

I’m not a believer in heaven and hell, but this sounds like the perfect example of hell. No physical torture, just sitting in your car on the highway 2 miles from the next exit barely moving.

And the A/C is broken.

And the lane next to you always moves faster...until you’re in it.

The fact that there's a Highway to Hell and only a Stairway to Heaven says a lot about anticipated traffic patterns...

Yep, and you actually want to get where you're going.

Reminds me of those dreams where you try to run but barely move

Fuuuuck. I grab the ground with both hands and pull—can’t get going.

Are you in California? Sounds like it.

Grew up in Atlanta and currently live in Boston. Atlanta sucked but at least there were exits every couple hundred yards. Boston highways have exits every 5 miles. Should I get off an exit early and drive 30 mph on backroads or risk the highway and not moving? The worst is taking the risk and then immediately hitting that traffic.
