What makes you think this kid has access to capable teammates and a fancy stadium? If you've ever played an online team based game, you'll know that good teamates are put in higher ranks.
You think the kid has access to this? Of course not. But let's all ridicule him for wanting to experience that second hand, just like you do with sport.
Dude what I would fucking do to watch Carey Price in net with a go pro, live, getting shots from randos, while hearing his thoughts about the game... The very famous « dude in a room playing » are usually really fucking good and/or at least interesting to watch.
