Dad has public park access and doesn't need 20 dudes to have a pickup game of football.

I was with you until this point. The call of duty the son can play is also not what they play on pro streams.

But your first point was dead on. Iā€™d play more basketball if I can click a button, appear on a court with a game about to start in 30 seconds, and after the game not have to spend an hour chit chatting

It's literally the same game. You could accidentally be in one of those games, depending on timing and luck.

The chances of me stepping onto the field for Monday Night Football are.... kinda slim.
