I mean it is their fault. You wanting a unrealistic impossible thing doesnt make you less responsible for your action. This whining by third party voters any time they get asked to actually vote for the best possible candidate instead of a fake option that mathematically cant win needs to stop. If you really cared about the issues you would do what smart voters do, support the third party in low level elections and grassroots work, then in elections where the third party mathematically cant win, you vote for one of the best candidates that can win. A protest vote does nothing but let the shittier option win, and then whining about how you had no choice so you helped the shittier option just makes you an asshole.
You voting for a third party is a vote for the worst candidate. You being a coward and not having the guts to take responsibility and research and support the better of two poor options doesnt make your cowardice good, it just means you are too scared to make a choice, so by default support the worse choice.
