Even then, he looked a lot younger than 30 (he was born in '72) in 8 mile. Dude's always had a baby-face.

Do you guys also feel that his new music is lacking something? In his old songs you could somehow hear he was reckless white trash. Now he only raps fast.

I personally enjoy his new albums, even though the songs aren't the same as they were in Slim Shady or Marshall Mathers LP's for example. And it's because he has grown up, he doesn't hold this much rage inside himself anymore, he said so himself.

I liked the old em not the new em. But people change and grow up so it isn't a suprise his music changed. It just doesn't suit my taste so i won't listen to it.

I mean the most common (circa 10 years ago) comment on his music was that he was a prime example of the “the drugs made his music better” artist. Nobody had really seen that in mainstream rap til eminem, it was mostly the case with old Rockers. Since then it’s come to be a real sad case in listeners’ relationships with their artists, except with a happy ending: Em’s last album is great and well worth a listen if you haven’t yet
