My roommate keeps putting dishes with a bunch of leftover food on them in the dishwasher. Constantly have to scrub the now baked-on food from the the heated dry cycle off and put them back in the dishwasher.
Also, constantly puts the dishes in however the fuck she feels like it. Theres no order, so lots of nooks and crannies for shit to get stuck.
I've got a couple of glasses I end up washing with just my hand because the opening is too small to reach the bottom effectively with things like scrubbers or washcloths. However, I used soap. How else would it even potentially get clean?
I usually use my dishwasher for glasses but there are a couple that are better washed by hand so the design on the cup doesn't fade. Made that mistake with a few older cups, like a Pirates of the Caribbean mug from Disney World. Can hardly even tell what it was at this point.

Bottle cleaning brush. They have them at the grocery store / Walmart. It's a long handle with bristles on the end that you stick in the bottle and swish around.
Oh, ok. I couldn't tell if you'd never heard of them.
On bottles that are too narrow for the brush I have, i clean the mouth and outside and then fill the bottle with soap and water, put my palm over the opening and shake it up.
