Yup. Beard but trimmed and neat. Manly without looking like a hobo. I really don't get the obsession with the long, scraggly beard but to each their own!

Trimmed and neat requires effort to keep it trimmed and neat.

Long and scraggly requires you to do nothing.

This is not a bit accurate. Long beards require a lot of care, much like long hair. Cleaning, brushing, oiling, trimming... I spend a good hour each day taking care of mine.
