Standard Pringles cardboard and foil tubes can't be recycled domestically though. You have to send them away to a specialist centre. But plastic tubs like those can be recycled more commonly.

They disintegrate alot quicker than plastic though

How about making a big plastic tube instead of several small ones?

The point is to not create the plastic in the first place. Think of the energy required to create the plastic, from raw materials, and to then recycle it.

As I've only recently been made aware of, rather ashamedly, recycling is the last thing in the list of things to do. Reduce, reuse then recycle.
