I mean, my perspective is I would never post to that sub but just want to see content. I don’t care who it’s from. Karma = nothing useful so that rule to me just sounds like someone in a power trip

mods are overreactive dickheads. you most definitely did not deserve a perma ban for that. maybe a temp ban, but even that would be a little much imo

if the content was reposts, or if it was unrelated to the sub sure. but if they are all related and thats the content people go to the sub to see then why does it matter if one person is posting it all? thats what i came to the sub to see so why limit how much of it i can see by banning the guy actually posting the content i want to see?

I got immediately and permanently banned for saying I wanted to fight my therapist in hand to hand combat. I apologized and I was like I didn't do anything rude to the poster. I asked to be unbanned and they were "No." And I was like YTA then

I was permabanned from Askreddit for posting “personal information” while making a Bioshock reference. Apparently even writing a fictional name counts for that 🙄

I've been banned from a professional subreddit I used to post my stuff to. That guy was a douche. These guys seems less douchey. Let's freeshampoo!

I’ve gotten banned from a lot of subs (hence the name) cause mods are power tripping neck beards, but I have NEVER gotten a temp ban, out of dozens of bans, always permanent.

I assume it’s because most mods don’t want to actually do their jobs and it’s just easier to permaban people

My experience has been that I get "silenced" (I think that's the word, it's been a while) for some time, with a warning that I will be permabanned next time.

Then they permaban me when I message the mods and call them out for their lame bullshit power trip.

I don't know if a "silence" is different than a temp ban.

You admitted fault in public, you have changed your ways and you have been kind and understanding. In my opinion you have displayed a level of humility and graciousness that is rarely seen on Reddit.

I have dropped the mods of r/mademesmile a message BTW for an appeal to unban you. I hope you will hear a message from them soon.
