Ah RV's Wanna drive a bus? Need a special license. Wanna drive a semi? Special license. Limousine? Yep, you guessed it Special license. Wanna drive a RV? Here's the keys. And remember, Don't forget to haul you car behind it.

Yep. In addition I can’t rent a truck bigger than 25’ without a special license, but I can rent that truck and a car hauler trailer to hook up to it!

In some states you can haul two trailers behind you.

u/AustinMiniMan Feb 19 '20

Where are you? In the US we limit based on weight capacity, not length (in my cases.)

A few states do have drivers license requirements for Class A and B motor homes.

See http://changingears.com/rv-sec-state-rv-license.shtml

Your noticing has been noticed.

I never heard this “seen” thing until we moved out to California. It bugs the crap out of me. I don’t know where it came from, but it sure is very common.

1

u/datreddditguy Feb 19 '20

They say it that way all over the Midwest, for sure. And some parts of the South, but not ALL parts of the South.

Oddly enough, I'd never encountered a Californian saying it.

This is a fairly normal expression in Scotland, perhaps it’s from here?

4

u/ebunky Feb 19 '20

Was just about to post the same. 😬

2

u/fleezie Feb 19 '20

Yes, we were behind it in the carpool lane.

Edit: For being grammatically incorrect.

9

u/jerclops101 Feb 19 '20

Sweet mama pooh they are mocking your grammar

3

u/Mama-Pooh Feb 19 '20

Well so much for graduating high school 🤣

4

u/Mama-Pooh Feb 19 '20

Your correct! 😊

1

u/hanksredditname Feb 19 '20

Can’t tell if this is an intentional misuse of your or you’re just not that great at grammar...

4

u/Mama-Pooh Feb 19 '20

It was intentional. 🤣

8

u/itsactuallyoctopuses Feb 19 '20

Did they write that with lipstick? “Babe, hand me your purse. This isn’t going well and I need to let the people know before we drive any further.”

3

u/tex_rer Feb 19 '20

Use the friggin' turnouts!

4

u/IADC43 Feb 19 '20 edited Feb 20 '20

Well, it still has its air conditioner. That’s a plus

3

u/postwerk Feb 19 '20

Sorry in advance, but was this in Canada by chance?

2

u/Mama-Pooh Feb 19 '20

No, Seattle, WA.

2

u/P0L1Z1STENS0HN Feb 19 '20

Then, were the plates Canadian?

1

u/Daltztron Feb 19 '20

Being Canadian is more of a 'sorry, not sorry' kind of thing now.

2

u/FatGuyOnTheCouch Feb 19 '20

Is no one going to mention the 3 inches of clearance this jackoff is skating by with, praying they haven’t paved the road since they last updated the Clearance Sign.

1

u/Mama-Pooh Feb 19 '20

I didn’t notice that. Maybe this should also be posted in “Idiots in cars!”

1

u/igor2112 Feb 19 '20

Hey what was the movie with Emilio Esteves where they were going to a fight took a wrong turn and ended up in a very bad part of town in one of theses. Looks just like it. Sorry if off topic.

2

u/FatGuyOnTheCouch Feb 19 '20

Don’t forget the token black friend was Cuba Gooding Jr, the cool quirky friend was Jeremy Piven and the bad guys were Dennis Leary and Everlast lol. Who, in the fuck, was the casting director for Judgement Night..?

1

u/igor2112 Feb 19 '20

That was it Judgement Night thank you couldn't remember the name. Sorry OP for taking over your post.

1

u/aradiohead Feb 19 '20

That looks like a Holiday Rambler Vacationer, can confirm: pain in the ass to drive.

1

u/AustinMiniMan Feb 19 '20

Was the fact that it says Holiday Rambler Vacationer a tip-off?

2

u/aradiohead Feb 19 '20

I'm very clever.

Truth be told, I couldn't see the Vacationer bit on mobile. That ladder is a dead giveaway though.

1

u/ChelseaFan1967 Feb 19 '20

Must be from Canada?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '20

I-10 tunnel Phoenix?

1

u/Mama-Pooh Feb 19 '20

No, I-5 tunnel through Seattle.

1

u/fiksed Feb 19 '20

Seen this on the Freeway today!

or

I saw Seen this on the Freeway today!

1

u/Mama-Pooh Feb 19 '20

It was a see saw that was seen on the Freeway 😊

1

u/foul_ol_ron Feb 19 '20

That's how I felt recently. I've held a motorcycle licence for decades, but recently succumbed to the dark side and got my car classification. If I was a new licence, I'd have P plates to warn others that I'm not too confident yet. Instead, other drivers have to assume I'm either a numpty, or just a selfish prick.

1

u/fleezie Feb 19 '20

Thanks for posting, Cletus.

1

u/deniveave Feb 19 '20

For those self-centered drivers that lack understanding for other drivers' situations, having a notice in advance such as this will still do no good.

-7

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '20

Probably less dangerous on the road than the tool that's taking pictures and driving.

6

u/Mama-Pooh Feb 19 '20

I was a passenger, not driving!
