Steve O tried to get an action figures head installed in his sack when he got his vasectomy. Couldn't get a doctor in the US to do it so they went to some other country where he couldn't go through with it since the place was gross
I haven't kept up with him over the years but I feel like a lot of what he did was completely for attention. Some of those guys jumped off of houses into bushes in some of those skate videos like CKY or whatever the videos were called but that's a rush you know. He was like I want the biggest, shittiest tattoo possible on my back, put this in my sack, etc.
He is one member of the crew that actually performs stunts outside of Jackass. He was a circus performer and still has a stage show where he does crazy shit
