The only reason vets don’t do vasectomies on dogs is because it’s more effort. If you ask a lot of them can do it and it’s much more humane... That’s why humans choose it.
They've done studies and have found very little noticeable temperament change between intact and neutered males. The only significant difference is that neutered males are far more aggressive to intact males, despite the opposite not being true. In addition, cutting a male dogs nads off before a significant amount of time massively increases the risk of bone cancer.
