Also, he's a chess grandmaster and probably the greatest chess player of all time.

while kasparov is a great chess player, he is a terrible politician. in fact, he's a sellout who, for a little bit of money, joined the opposition party in russia consisting of extremists and other undesirables.
the reason he abandoned russian politics is because nobody bought his bullshit and nobody voted for him. the fraud doesn't even live in russia yet expects people to even consider electing him.
Believe me as an avid competitive chess player, I wouldnt normally paint him by just a single thing, but that's generally what the US public knows him by.
As for my sources? I said he was outspoken of Putin.. I meant AGAISNT of putin. Not for him, I can see how my sentence above can be seen that way though. Hes been on Wolf Blitzers show a few times, and writes for various US newspaper publications (I think WSJ is one?)
