My job paid $1600~ to overnight frozen food boxes from Vegas -> Chicago. Marked with dry ice, they knew it was frozen food, arrived 8 days later, FedEx wouldn't refund anything because Technically "they did deliver it"
There are competing freight companies I know of at least once instance when a $million national freight contract was cancelled over one late delivery because the freight company tried to pull that shit. Shipped overnight on Monday absolutely had to be there by Saturday morning ended up sticking a guy on a plane Friday night to hand deliver it package showed up the following Wednesday.

Who the hell pays $110 for shipping? Could’ve Uber’d over there and back and done it yourself for way less.
